They wished for a cat and one showed up by morning.
A friendly cat showed up outside a workplace one morning and immediately made it clear she wanted help. Hungry, she walked right up to people with no fear at all. A call was made and within hours she was brought home, fed, and warmed up. The second she found a lap, she curled up like she’d been waiting for it.
Her new pawrents weren’t actively looking for another cat, but the timing lined up in a strange way. The idea had just crossed their minds the night before. By the next day, she was asleep in their arms, purring nonstop. She’s a velcro kitty who wants to be touching someone at all times, kneading and headbutting like she’s making up for lost time. Even their senior cat Loki seems calmer with her around, and the house feels fuller already.
They’ve posted everywhere trying to find an owner, and the vet confirmed she isn’t chipped. A checkup is scheduled to make sure she’s healthy. If someone claims her, they’ll handle it the right way. If no one does, she already has a place to stay.
For now she’s safe, warm, and fed, sleeping with a full belly and zero worries. She walked in unexpectedly and fit right in.
