When customers don’t get what they want, they will go to great lengths to achieve their ultimate goal: Satisfy their wantonness for their own self-benefit. The entitled customer showcased in this next tale goes through the five stages of grief in less than a minute, shouting obscenities at the innocent hotel employee because they won’t offer them discounted rates that—surprise, surprise—don’t apply to them.
You’d think that this is one of the most non-fool-proof ways to get a discount, but not everyone has the right idea when they’re trying to scam and save themselves some cash.
The hotel employee does everything right and stays completely calm, albeit when the customer clearly deserves to be told something that’ll stick with them for a while, and the initial argument is put to rest. Even when the hotel customer decides to stay, he makes every complaint under the sun with a likely intent to get the money back that he couldn’t scam out of the establishment prior.
